Prof. Bing-Huei Chen, a distinguished food scientist, earned his Ph.D. in Food Science & Technology from Texas A&M University in 1988. Since then, he has been a prominent figure at Fu Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan, serving as Associate Professor, Professor, and currently, Distinguished Chair Professor. His expertise spans Lipid Chemistry, Pigment Chemistry, Food Toxicology, Functional Food and Botanical Drug Development, and Nanotechnology. Prof. Chen has published 230 research articles and authored 11 book chapters, with over 14,276 citations and an H-index of 70. His pioneering work has led to significant advancements, including the development of "Lycopene Chylomicron," a promising botanical drug for prostate hypertrophy, and a nano-drink for treating type II diabetes, Parkinson�s, and Alzheimer�s diseases. As a research scientist, Dr. Omid Akbarzadeh Pivehzhani works with Texas A&M University, Department of Petroleum Engineering. He worked with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the USA and Nanotechnology and Catalysis Research Centre (NANOCAT) at the University of Malaya in Malaysia. His main research areas are heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, catalytic reaction engineering, nanocatalyst synthesis, nanomaterials characterization, CO2 conversion, and gas process. He has spent 15 years in academic-industrial projects as a research officer and post-doctoral. He developed advanced smart catalysts, especially for the oil and gas industries. Ashanendu Mandal has graduated as B. Sc in Chemistry and B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from University of Calcutta. He has got his M. Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur. He has acquired MBA degree in Finance from IGNOU, New Delhi and has undertaken an Advanced Management Program from IIM Calcutta. He has also acquired the Degree of Ph. D. Dr. Mandal has worked in ONGC for more than 34 years and his experience includes commissioning, modifications, safety, operations, artificial lifts, pressure maintenance, EOR and planning in offshore and onshore oilfields.
